- Only apply ceramic coating in a protected environment. We’d recommend doing so inside of your garage or, at the very least, where your car has been kept out of direct sunlight for a few hours. Sunlight can quickly increase the surface temperature of a car, and a hot surface will cause the ceramic coating to bind improperly or dry out before it even begins to bind. The ideal temperature is between 50 and 70°F. The good news is that Shine Armor Fortify will stay on your car even under extreme heat after it has finished bonding to the finish.

Why use Shine Armor Fortify over wax?
